why the hive?
Jessica is the owner and founder of 1440 Health Collective and The Hive. She also owns her spiritual counseling practice, The Well Grounded Soul. She has a rich background in the world of Buddhism, shamanism, hypnotherapy, and transpersonal psychology. After battling her own health challenges, she devoted herself to helping others find their path to healing. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Jessica combines her knowledge with deep spiritual practices to bring transformational healing.
Esther has made it her life’s mission to use her musical gifts to heal people. As an accomplished classical singer, Esther has performed as a soloist with the top orchestras and opera houses around the US, most notably the Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and the New York Philharmonic, as well as other major concert halls throughout Europe and Asia. Using the knowledge and understanding of sound and vibration she has gained from being a classical singer.
Esther connected with a Tibetan Singing Bowl Master from Nepal, who started working with her on this ancient art form. She now serves the Washington, DC area and Northern Neck, VA with this technique, merging her accomplished classical musicianship with this powerful treatment of sound and vibration. Amy Banocy is a Women’s Mindset & Spirituality Coach, as well as a Breast Cancer Coach & survivor.
Her work is rooted in helping women deepen their spirituality and connect with their intuition, as a gateway to creating alignment and breaking free from stress and overwhelm to live with more joy, peace, and ease. As a coach, Amy acts as a guiding light for women as they navigate life’s challenges and creates safe and sacred spaces for them to honor the truth of their experiences.

At The Hive, we offer a wide variety of wellness classes, including yoga, pilates, tai chi, movement, meditation, group trainings, and more. Our goal is to create a supportive space for healing, growth, and community engagement. You can check our full class schedule here. Keep an eye out for new classes being added.
We use the WellnessLiving platform for all class scheduling. To book a class, simply create a profile, and you’ll be able to browse the schedule, reserve your spot, pay online and manage your bookings.
Most classes require comfortable clothing and a yoga mat for activities like yoga or meditation. For specialized classes, such as tai chi or dance, specific instructions will be provided when you sign up. We also have mats and props available at The Hive if you don't have your own.
We recommend booking in advance through the WellnessLiving class schedule to ensure your spot, as class sizes may be limited. However, if there’s availability, we do accept drop-ins.
We offer various pricing options, including drop-in rates and discounts for class packages when available. You can explore these options on our WellnessLiving page or speak to a member of our team for details. We will be offering a membership option in the future as we continue to grow.
Absolutely! We welcome all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Our instructors are experienced in offering modifications and guidance to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and supported.
