About Manual Therapy
Manual therapy is a combination of Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy to relieve pain and restore range of motion to tight muscles. It combines techniques of traditional massage therapy, such as neuromuscular, myofascial release, and myoskeletal alignment to treat a wide range of postural and pain conditions such as neck pain, pelvic imbalance, and poor mobility. We also use soft tissue mobilization techniques, which consist of passive and active movements of joints in an effort to reduce pain and break up dysfunctional patterns within the body. Myoskeletal alignment techniques use body structures as levers to break up dysfunctional patterns that we all develop over time.
